OK, I've uploaded my pictures to my PhotoBucket account. They might have gotten out of order during the upload.

Great seeing everyone! Wow - there were some amazing early Cudas & Valiants there this year. Enjoyed having dinner with the gang on Friday... and, of course, my annual Big Smokey date with Lenny.

Here are my pix:

BTW, Fast Fish, I was hanging out next to you with my buddy Tom and his son and Tom's 69 Barracuda. Sorry I never introduced myself; I'm an introvert.

Don, yeah - I should've said hello. I'm an east coaster who was transplanted to Ohio in 1995. I know Tom from the Mopar Mailing List; he owns a shop in Dayton, and he's done some work on my car.

Good thing you stayed in Pro-Street rather than parking by the tent - you might not have won first place! Your car is awesome, btw.

The custard stand is straight south on Route 11 -- probably a mile or two from the fairgrounds. I love old signs, and I love ice cream, so how could I resist?

Just a little, but as far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier. Just because one of your rear tires is wider than 2 of mine doesen't mean you can't hang out with us. By the rules mine should have been in A body modified. more than 4 mild mods.

Don, by the way, thanks for bringing your portable XM - enjoyed listening to the 60s! My car is essentially a survivor -- all original except for a dual master cylinder upgrade. (It's a White/ Red 273)

The interesting bit about "The Marshmallow" is that I took it on a solo month-long cross-country roadtrip in 2001 when I got laid-off. The ride took me through 27 states and Canada, covering 10,123 miles. At that time, I had only owned the car for 8 months... hard to believe it's been 8 years since then!

Don, yeah - when you left for lunch, we were actually missing the tunes! I was at the Barracuda tribute at the Nats, but my car was parked across the street in general parking. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $65 to be in the show, but I sort of regretted it afterwards.

In fact, I've never registered my car at the Nats. I just can't justify the price. I drive my car out there, so I can enjoy cruising around Heath later in the evening, but the Nats are a clusterf---. Seriously, I live 30 miles from the Nats and 400 from Carlisle, and I will miss going to the Nats way before I miss Carlisle.

Don't get me wrong... it's a big show, but Carlisle does it better. The Nats offers drag racing onsite, and the traffic situation is much better. Carlisle has it beat on decent food, quantity and quality of restrooms, and overall organization.

I'll be there on Saturday, but I'll probably be up at Mid-Ohio on Friday and Sunday for the Indy Car qualifying and race. My BF is bummed I'm missing the American LeMans, but my Mopar show comes first! (Had the car before I had him!)

Whew! Another set of back to back weekend shows done! Carlisle was over 1000 miles; back and forth to Syracuse was ~700 miles and the car ran flawlessly!

Thanks to all who took pics - they are wonderful! Thanks for taking care of that so I could 'shop'...

Already looking forward to next year...sorry that we missed saying our goodbyes Roger - but thanks for the note!
