You might think it's pricey, but it's got the choke thermostat, thermostat water inlet, throttle bracket and other stuff all attached! I spent a real long time rounding all that stuff up not to mention the cost of all those little things. The throttle bracket was the hardest part to find. This is a deal! Ebay # 300139853180 |

I saw one with the centre of the carb flange hogged out (read open plenum) recently on EBay, and it went for over $200!....Sheesh...these things ARE getting expensive!

Ya I know eh? And after all the troubles I had with mine, I'm going to put in a 340 and scrap the whole thing! Here I am, spending years getting the engine bay to look all stock and now I'm going to go custom. Oh well...hot rodding for ya!

That particular intake has been for sale for a long time...at that same price. I guess they're just waiting for the market to catch up....and maybe it has!

Well maybe I'm off my rocker to think it's a deal, but I'm learning that sometimes it's so much easier to buy it all complete then trying to piece it together. I mean, there's a complete setup just hit BUY and move on with your life, ya know?

I might sell mine soon if the prices keep increasing. The t-stat housing can be bought new. I found one for my A/C car at O'reilly's.
