what i was thinking of was having one thread say in the members area to post pictures to, rather than having them in each individual thread. this way the picture are always near the top of the area

Threads tend to take on a mind of their own. You're free to start a new thread anytime you like, but whether or not everyone will post into it is another story. Give it a try and see what happens? You go first...

I am having an awful time getting my puter to work here... keeps wanting to enter a user name???? And does it at every turn. I am on here now with an new name and password, and it still keeps trying to enter the old one... I am about to give up.

I am sure it's something with my system, and I can't figure out how to delete the damn thing... but why does this forum keep asking for user name, else my puter would not be trying to submit it???

Oh, I want my old "Registered: 1-2002" back... And probably my old user name too... deleting my old profile did not fix my problem... has made it worse in fact.

I hope someone who knows "Windows" will recognize my problem... see above picture... HELP!

My old user name was "clifcuda65".... That's clif with ONE "f".... Never two! Two f's would mean there was a "ford" in my name... Then there would be a fight!

Yup, that worked as advertised.

As for YOU owning two (sigh~) fords.... That's fine with me. I have many good Ford Friends. In fact, I work on a pit crew for a very good friend of mine who is a Ford Lover and I'm a Chrysler Products lover, and the Race Car... It's a S/C Chevy Powered Dragster. He is SuperPro Track Champ this year at FireBird!

So you see, we can all still get along... Even though I prefer my Mopars... I just like Racing and people who love cars!

Just don't call me "ClifFORD" and all is good!

Oh year, Chris makes Dragster Wheels and I also work for him (My 2nd job)Shelby Flyer

so how come I have to sigh in as "guest" after all this time? And then after signing in that way, the board seems to recognize me, with my number of posts, username, etc. I changed my password, but maybe Firefox didn't save the change??? It's just annoying!

P.S. Thanks for all you do, Niel, and I hope your car is easily repairable at reasonable cost. WHAT a birthday present. For a consolation present, however, I can offer this: at least you'll always be younger than I am!

In your PROFILE you can select to have your username and password saved in a cookie, which should allow you to come to the board and have your username show up in in the box automatically.

Hey guys, I'm wondering why I'm getting the following error message when I try to upload photos. The message is as follows:

ICAP Error (icap_error)

An error occurred while performing an ICAP operation: Connection failure: An error occurred while sending data to the ICAP server.
There could be a network problem, the ICAP service may be misconfigured, or the ICAP server may have reported an error.

For assistance, contact your network support team

Thanks for the help!

I've never seen that error before and there is no record of it within the support forum for this software.

Some research shows me that it is somehow linked to a proxy server your internet provider is using. I'm not entirely sure, and I have to do some more research, but I think basically it's like this: your service provider proxy server gets a picture of this website to store and dish out to its clients, but it's not getting the whole thing...

I think it's a little more complicated than that. In the meantime, you can send your photos to me and I'll post them on your behalf. If anyone else is having this problem, absolutely let me know.

Thanks for your patience.

It could be a problem with the host provider the Early A-Body Forum is using! I have to look into it more...in the meantime you can read some about it here:
