Hey, guys. I've been looking for the Throttle Cable Clamp listed above. I Googled it & saw Neilb's post from 2006. I'm trying to attach a pic from that post. If anyone has one, please respond. My email is: r66cuda3@yahoo.com. Thanx273 2bbl Throttle Cable Clamp

Can't tell exactly what that bracket looks like from just that one pic. I searched ebay for "mopar throttle bracket" & found a bunch.
This link seems to have the most stock - type brackets.
I hope I've helped. Good luck!

That bracket is for the Carter AFB four barrel carb used on the Commando 273ci.

Seems to me the 4bbl version is that one, the 2bbl version is slightly different.

Your right Neil. The two barrel version is shorter and should be easier to get. I was looking at the first picture in the thread.

I may have posted about it back in 2006 but I don't remember all the details. I do remember having a really hard time finding one, and I remember trying to make one from something else......

And I remember when I got all the 4bbl stuff it all just fit together nicely and I was real happy, finally! :-)

Go to a wrecking yard and find a Mopar car, Van or pickup with a 318 or other small block and I believe you will find the clamp your looking for. Like I posted earlier that is what I did and also when my son went to a 4 barrel on his 318 in his 71 charger that is what he also did

The 2 bbl bracket is the same as the 4bbl one...it just bends the other way...

And it located the throttle cable inboard for the narrower 2-barrel carb, as was mentioned in the post from last year on another board.

But that link goes to a post from early last year. Maybe he's still got it??

But hey, folks, isn't time and space travel neat?.. I went from 2013 to 2006, picked up Neil (Who'd been missing in action) came back to 2013, back to 2012 on a different planet (board)... and the thread ended! Reads like a cheezy old radio cliffhanger. (("Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the next thrilling episode! Will 66340SEDAN soak that bracket in weasel piss for a year???"))

Oh, and by the way, where the heck ya been, Neil?? And thanks for your post of March, '06, that finally showed me the parts in the linkage I found on my 64ragtop.

OK...I emailed the seller to see if he still has it. I'll let you know.

A wire wheel and a little paint will fix that bracket up just fine, I'll bet.
