| "Early Valiant & Barracuda Club" - you have to write it all out for the club to get credit for your entry. |

| I'm registered for Carlisle and have my hotel reservations all set. The past two years I've had mitigating circumstances that prevented me from attending. This year everything looks good. I hope the economy doesn't hurt EVBC attendance this year. |

Yes, I'd have to say there were less cars in every category this year. Plenty of empty spaces between cars. There was maybe 12-15 early A body Plymouths this year. Las t time I attended in 2009, there was over 20 and had a hard time finding a parking spot. The top of the hill had quite a few cars this year. That's where all the late model cars and trucks are parked. Unfortunately, they parked the early A-100 vans and pickups in with the new stuff ( I think the classic trucks and vans should be parked down below with the other classics). The vendors and car corral seemed about the same. I didn't see too many "sold" signs though. Maybe the extreme heat and Holiday weekend kept attendance down. |

| I'd say if you change the color to another 1966 factory color, you can show your car in "stock" class ( I use quotations because virtually every car has some minor modifications like dual master cylinder and radial tires). They're pretty liberal with the rules at Carlisle because the cars are judged by the participants. If you intend to show your car in AACA judged events, they will subtract points for color change. |
