To clean gauges that are yellowed use toothpaste. Use a white gel type with no grit, I used a Colgate brand. Don't use automotive buffing compound it's too aggressive and you risk rubbing through the paint if not careful. Rub with your finger and carefully rinse with water, repeat as needed. Another thing to keep in mind is when clean the white is not a bright white but an off white.
The photos show the results.
After the cleaning and replacing only the bezel the results speak for themselves.
