Figured I'd post some "baby pictures" too. Owned mine since 1978. It's a v-8, a/t. 89,000 miles.

Not a show car, but I've had lots of fun with it.

Here are a couple of recent shots, plus the dealer invoice.

Funny how the price of plates is pretty much the same now as then, but the price of cars has gone up 20 fold!

Thanks, guys. And Neil, I wish plates in Connecticut still cost $12! We've "advanced" a bit since then. I think my last registration cost me around $75.

Ahh..okay, I get it. Where I am plates cost $10, and the sticker you put on is $70. I get it now.

Your convertible is really nice, makes me want a convertible. Wanna trade?

Neil, I have to say I was never a big early "Fish" fan until I spent some time on the list and in this forum, really looking at the cars. The early Barracudas are great lookers and were/are a great value. But I think I'll keep the convertible for now .

As a side note, I was the proud owner for a short time of a 1969 Barracuda 2-door hardtop, inherited from my grandmother. It was pretty basic 225 /6 a/t car, but quite pretty: white with a dark green interior. I loved the car, but it went to another relative who needed a car and was then stolen and wrecked. I was broken-hearted. I think that body style was one of the prettiest cars out there.
