Hey all.
Here's a pic of my 65 with some recent changes. It was pretty tired looking when I bought it but a lot of hard work and a few bucks have made it look so much better. It still has some issues - more on that in the General Discussion area.
On the outside I have...
1. Color sanded and buffed the crappy paint job - its better but still rough in spots
2. Added missing moldings - the rear wheel moldings came from Laysons just two weeks ago. No problems with them. I know many of you have been burned by them but I did OK on this one.
3. Added the racing stripes - not 'correct' but I did it on a budget
4. Finally got my Cragars !! I feel like a kid with a new toy :-)

More about the old rally wheels in the 'For Sale' area.

Looks very sharp! What size wheels and tires did you go with?

Thanks all!
I'm pretty happy with the results.
Dalerich, since I had just put new tires on a few months ago, I stayed with 14". The tires are 225/70s. I probably should have gone with 65s but oh well. The wheels are 6" X 14" with the small bolt pattern and 3 1/2" backspace. Pretty much the exact size of the original rallys that were on it. I got them from Summit Racing. Best price I could find and a flat $12 charge for handling. I had them within 3 days of ordering.

The stripes are 6" silver vinyl from rallystripes.com
