Thanks Neil, that was a fantastic read. I was under the impression that the car was destroyed after the wreck. Glad to have that fact and others cleared up. Please forgive my nitpicking of a great article,but I thought the 8 3/4 was available starting in '67 A bodies.? From the article:
"Stock Barracudas used a 7 1/4 inch rear end with the 8 3/4 inch becoming an option in the 1965ís. JR had huge NASCAR type brake drums so itís hard to tell if the rear end was a narrowed B body unit or the í65 A body piece."
