I've been thinking about this lately and I think it would be fun to see what number other peoples Valiants and Barracudas rolled off the line with. My Barracuda was number 428 out of the Hamtramck assembly line. |

Mine was built the Second Tuesday in July of 64. Just 2 days prior to the end of the 64 run. And quite possibly the last Barracuda built in 64, wish there was a way to tell what they built those last 3 days. I have heard the last friday of the Line run they didn't build any cars just shut down and started reconfiguring for 65. Imagin if they had computers back then!!! Chatoswell, if you post your fender tag and vin i can do it for you. |

I have an automatic with column shift. I'm still not 100% sure that my number is correct, but if I'm reading the specs section right my SO and NUMBER, 62700428, means it was 428th. I'm still not sure what exactly the production number on my VIN, 693578, means though. |
